What Happens to George Today?

The concept revolves around a character called George.

George isn’t the luckiest person on the planet. If something can go wrong in George’s life – it will. But fortunately for George, he has Tetley Jasmine. Which leaves him with a feeling that everything will be alright.

We present George along with 5 other characters in a video on You Tube. All of the days events of the day revolve around George’s house.

The users will be allowed click on the characters which opens a dialogue box asking the user to state what that character does to George to ruin his day. The best idea will be produced and uploaded on Youtube within 2-3 days time.

Each episode ends with George relaxing with a cup of Tetley Jasmine Tea and a super saying: Tetley Jasmine Tea : Makes it all Better.

The characters:

1) The Lion – A person in a lion’s costume. The lion destroys George’s furniture, holds parties with the other neighbourhood animals in George’s house, and doesn’t allow George to move about freely. For example, he might stand in front of George’s car and growl fiercely.

2) The Gay Policeman – A cop who wears tight clothes and interrupts George’s life, just to get an get close to George and perhaps frisk him. He might go through George’s underwear drawer on an ‘anonymous’ top that he’s stashing drugs there. Or makes him pay his fines by having dinner with him.

3) The Mother – The emotional blackmailing, nasal voiced, manipulating, often mother. She often forces him to confront the lion, fight with the evil uncle or humour the gay cop.

4) The Evil Uncle – The evil uncle must be around 100 years old. Or at least he looks it. The evil uncle pretends to be senile but he’s not. He plays loud music at odd hours of the night, let’s his dog lose in George garden to do his business and uses his walking stick as a weapon.

5) The Machine – George’s computer. A 256 with a 5.5 inch floppy drive. It will do exactly the opposite of what George wants. Unless, George tries reverse Psychology on the machine. In which case it will do exactly what he asked it to.

So a user’s story may go like this.

Gay Cop:

The day starts with the gay cop showing up with a bunch of flowers and a warrant to search George’s house for drugs. However he spends most of his time frisking him and then takes off with a pair of his boxers as ‘evidence’

.

Machine:

He tries to get some work done on his computer, which unceremoniously deletes his files and catches fire. His entire bedroom gets charred to bits.

The Lion:

He steps into the living room to find the lion has painted his walls with pug marks and is now using a saw to rip his sofa apart. He then decided to frolic in the cotton that is strewn everywhere.

End with George having a cup of tea. Super: Jasmine Tea. Makes it all better.
